COVID-19 REFUND POLICY:

Any team unable to take part in the tournament due to restrictions placed on them by local public health units or any issues related to Covid-19 will receive a full refund. For non-covid related withdrawals within 5 weeks prior to the start of the tournament up to 50% of the fee will be refunded only if a replacement team is secured. Refunds will be issued by cheque. Please allow 4-6 weeks after the tournament for refund to arrive.

BODY CHECKING POLICY:

Permitted at "AA" age groups for U14, U15, U16 and U17. “A” teams will not be accepted from U14 to U17 due to differing body checking regulations.

Remaining Spots will be updated on a Regular Basis
Excess registrations will be placed on a wait list, with
notification by the Tournament Committee.

TRAVEL TEAMS PLEASE NOTE: Final confirmation is subject to receipt of proof of registration at a tournament sanctioned hotel, which should be forwarded as soon as possible. See Hotels page for locations.

GAME TIMES: Games on Tuesday to Thursday will start at 6:30 pm. Games Friday to Sunday may start as early as 7:30 am.

BODY CHECKING: Permitted at "AA" age groups for (U14), (U15), (U16), (U17) and (U18). “A” teams will not be accepted in these age groups due to differing body checking regulations.

PAYMENT REQUIRED TO CONFIRM REGISTRATION: Please forward cheque indicating team name & age group and made payable to “Mississauga Early Bird Tournament“ and mail to below address, or via eTransfer to [email protected], indicating team name & age group in the note.

All Divisions: $1,850 CDN - U.S.A. teams add $50.00 per Hockey Canada Rule

LIABILITY WAIVER / ACCEPTANCE OF TRAVEL TEAM HOTEL AGREEMENT: It is understood that in acceptance of our team in the Mississauga Early Bird Tournament, it is agreed that the tournament sponsors and Mississauga Host Teams assume no legal liability for injuries or loss. Travel teams also hereby agree to register and stay at a Mississauga Early Bird Tournament sanctioned hotel. PLEASE ALSO NOTE: League issued Travel Permit is required at least 4 weeks before the start of the tournament or tournament approval will be invalidated.
